All TCRC Local Chairs- CPR Eastern and Western Regions - Bulletin 2: Your TCRC Negotiating Committee met with Canadian Pacific Railway in the presence of Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services (FMCS services were provided as the parties voluntarily requested their conciliation services) Thursday November 16, 2017 in Toronto to exchange our proposals and demands.
Our Proposals
We explained our proposals, which included measures to resolve problems advanced to us by the Divisions. Copies of the Union proposals are attached with the French version soon to follow for your information and review. The Company demands are also attached, but have only been provided to us in English. We have advised the Company of the necessity to provide a French language version and will provide the document once it is received.

Subdivision Runtimes

We are currently reviewing the Company’s demands. As in past rounds, we are seeking the membership’s input with regard to their views on the Company’s documents. Our next scheduled meeting with the Company will be November 27, 2017 to December 1, 2017. Hopefully the five-day session scheduled in the West will be productive.

It is important for your Negotiating Committee to obtain your feedback, comments or questions on the proposals prior to the next meeting. Please forward any questions sent from your members to your respective General Chairman to ensure proper follow up.

Following each session, we will provide the Divisions with an updated bulletin. Please distribute these documents ensuring the membership is appraised of any developments.
